A look at what we’re up to, during the art world’s prestigious fair
After a busy few months (including our IRL exhibition ‘Art & NFTs: The Digital Roots NYC’) we are taking a moment to absorb this year’s Art Basel, in all its frantic glory!
From Albert Oehlen and Wu Tsang’s VR artworks on the site, to a new series of NFTs by José Davila’s, who is exhibiting in nearby Zurich, there’s a host of offerings for digital art fans.
So, here’s how our week is panning out:
Thursday 16 June, ‘NFT Art Trends-Generative art’,
live from Art Basel [10am]
In conjunction with the exhibition ‘Chance Encounters in New Mediums: Generative Art’ jointly presented by Tezos x Art Basel, we are looking forward to hearing Lorenzo Cortesi (Cortesi Gallery) speaking with Eko33 (Generative artist), Iskra Velitchkova (Artist) and Paul Schmidt (Artist) and fxhash.
The event is one in a broader speaker series which, in conjunction with the show, explores the reinvigoration of generative art practices within contemporary developments.
